The technology of SkyCaddie has hit Pulai Springs Resort recently! SkyCaddie uses the most advanced GPS chips and mapping techniques. They are the only hand-held GPS Company in golf to provide tech support for their product.
Basically, this device is a GPS range finder that is able to give golfers an eagle’s view of each hole from anywhere on the golf course. The uniqueness of this device is that it is able to tell golfers the precise distance of the ball to the pin.
This will enable golfers to reduce their scores and speed up the time during each round.
The 4-star mapping is now available for download into the hand-held GPS rangefinder. SkyCaddie is chosen by the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and The Golf Channel to provide distances during event telecasts. They have professionally mapped well over 16,000 courses worldwide. A SkyGolf representative is now based in Kuala Lumpur and mapping courses daily around Asia.

PARGOLF SUPER 18 - Malaysia’s Ultimate Golf Course
Pulai Springs Resort has been awarded one of Malaysia’s Ultimate Golf Course by ParGolf Super 18. ParGolf Super 18 was established in 2006 to showcase some of the finest golf holes around the country through a fictional 18-hole golf course made up of a selection of the best golf holes in Malaysia. The selection panel comprises of ParGolf editors and golf playing staff. This group of people will evaluate each individual hole based on the following factors:
1. General aesthetics
2. Shot-making challenges for varying handicap levels
3. ‘Risk versus Reward’ equation
4. ‘Memorability’ towards the golf course

| Hard Hat Party |
Members’ Appreciation Night at 7th Heaven
Top spending members of Pulai Springs Resort were invited to a Hard Hat theme party at the Resort on Friday, 30 November 2007. This party was held as an appreciation to all top spenders for their support and patronage. This special theme party was held in the function area located on the 7th floor of CintaAyu All Suites. Members had the opportunity to see the function venue for the first time which is due for completion soon. Many members brought along their spouses and children and were feted to an evening of great food, drinks, games and entertainment. In line with the theme, guests and staff were dressed in hard hats, jeans and jumpers. About 300 guests were present during that evening. Some of the highlights of the evening included Top Spender Awards, Best Dressed Award and Best Dancer (Male & Female Category). |

| Camp Fire Night – Children’s Birthday Party |
Pulai Springs Resort organised a Children’s Birthday Party for the members’ children on 1 December 2007, Saturday. There were approximately 250 persons present for the party and the Resort took the opportunity to invite some orphans from Pusat Kebajikan Kalvari (PKK) Johor and members of the Press. The birthday party was held at the Ramayana Lounge and the party kicked-off to a good start with four birthday boys & girls lighting up the bon fire. The crowd also enjoyed a barbeque dinner, face painting, story telling sessions, balloon making and magic shows. A clown was also present to add to the laughter of the children. How can a birthday party go without a cake? Last but not least, a cake cutting ceremony was held. |

| 9th Asia Pacific WATABOSHI Music Festival |
The 9th Asia Pacific WATABOSHI Music Festival was held at Danga Bay from
23 – 27 November 2007. It was a celebration of the musical and artistic talent of the disabled held every two years in selected countries around the world. It is also a promotion of peace, love, friendship and development through music.
The event was jointly organised by the Johor State Government, Johor Heritage Foundation, Johor Tourism Action Council and Johor Family Foundation, Asia Pacific Forum on Families (APFAM) and the Association of Wives of Elected Representative of People (JUITA). Pulai Springs Resort participated in this event and was assigned to team up and work closely with Pontian District to promote its delicacies. The Resort sold Pineapple Fried Rice and Freshly Squeezed Juice at the stall decorated with pineapples.
In conjunction with this inaugural event, the Resort also promoted Pontian district’s delicacies during the 5-day event. Delicacies such as Pineapple and Prawn Salad and Char – Broiled Chicken Breast on Glaced Pontian Pineapple with Root vegetables were served at Gleneagles Terrace. For dessert and beverage, Grilled Pineapple with Caramelo Ice-cream and Freshly Squeezed Pineapple Juice were served. |
