Three patron members represented the Resort to participate in the Royal & Sun Alliance National Inter-Club Team Championship at  Kelab Rahman Putra Malaysia on 7 & 8 August 2007. Despite their busy schedule, these members were determined to join this tournament. They included Mr Chia Kim Sin, Mr Wong Chen Keang and Mr Toa Sin Min.
Leading the group was Mr Farroul Hossey, Assistant Golf Manager. “The Resort had selected these three members as representatives because all of them are considered top players in the Resort,” he said. Currently, Mr Chia is the Club Champion for 3 consecutive years, while Mr Wong and Mr Toa are the top 2 players in the PSRB order of merit.
The championship was decided by scratch strike play, over 36 holes. 35 groups participated in this annual tournament and each group consisted of 3 players.
Mr Farroul highlighted that due to work commitment, these members had to skip the practice round and they had never played in Kelab Rahman Putra.
The Resort would like to express it’s appreciate to these members for their time and effort.
