‘WILD,
WILD WEST’ CHILDREN’S BIRTHDAY
PARTY
More
than 60 children and their siblings attended the Wild-Wild
West Birthday Party held at the Kayangan Suites on
10 March. The children received a cute piggy bank as
a door gift in our hope to spur the ‘saving’ habit
in them. Many good food and treats were prepared for
the children such as Fishermen’s Platter, Satay,
Mini Burgers, Mini Spring Rolls, Fried Chicken Wings,
Ice Cream Cup and free flow of sodas. All gathered
during the cake cutting ceremony and sing the birthday
song. They later enjoyed taking part in the 4 games
organized by our Sports & Recreation department
namely Horse Race, Horseshoe Competition, Ping Pong
Game and Balloon Burst. Winners took home prizes offered
from the games. We hope to see more participants in
the next birthday party, to be held in June 2007. See
you there!

PSR
ORDER OF MERIT
The Order of merit is a ranking
method for players who have
participated in in-house
tournaments throughout the
year. Points will be awarded
to players who have participated
in any tournament organised
by Pulai Springs Resort.
The ranking is based on the
highest point system. There
are two categories under “Order
of Merit” gross and
nett.
50 points will be awarded
to the 1st place position,
45 points will be awarded
to the 2nd place position
and this will continue till
the 10th place position,
with only 5 points awarded.
For those who fall below
the 11th position, only 3
points will be awarded for
their participation. The
ranking chart will be updated
upon the completion of every
tournament.
This ranking method will
serve as a guideline for
selection of players in club
activities such as the inter-clubs
or other tournaments
Additionally, this system
also aims to promote a competitive
spirit among members and
provides an opportunity to
improve their game. We hope
members will be motivated
to join more club events
in order to vie for a better
position in the Order of
Merit.
The member with the most
points will be awarded at
the end of the year.
