APPOINTMENT OF NEW GOLF COMMITTEE MEMBERS
The new Golf Committee was appointed on 15 June 2006. The objective
of this committee is to work hand-in-hand with the management
to improve membership activities & services and golfing conditions.
It is also formed to serve and represent the members better.
Members of the Golf Committee report directly to the Golf Captain,
Mr Raman Ramiah, who reports to the Liaison committee. The disciplinary
sub-committee also reports to the Liaison Committee. The list

9-HOLE QUICKIE (JUNE– AUGUST 2006)
A 9-hole game has never
been easier than this: tee off from
5.00pm onwards, (except on Tuesdays, from 4.30pm) and enjoy extended
golfing hours till 8.00pm. Members’ guests pay only RM45
nett per person (green fee, buggy fee and insurance). Last tee
off is at 5.30pm. This package is available from Mondays to Fridays
and Sunday afternoons only. Please call Golf Centre at 07- 521

LIDO VILLAGE FAM TOUR (SEAFOOD AND KELONG DAY TRIP)

A first hand experience awaits you – See how ‘Ikan
Susu’ (Taiwan Fish) and ‘Kupang’ (mussels
/ green shell) are bred and how real fishermen live on the
kelong! The unique Ikan Susu has no teeth and only survives
on bread, wheat and biscuits – try your hands at fishing
on the floating fish tunnel (the size of 3 football fields!)
and enjoy breathtaking views of Johor and Singapore shorelines
throughout this outing.
The visit also includes a ‘makan-makan’ session
at Alam Seafood Restaurant at Kampung Orang Asli Sg. Danga
and you also get to buy seafood at rock-bottom prices!

MRE
CAR WASH IS OPEN NOW!
Why not get your car washed, waxed and polished while playing golf?
The latest service available at the Resort is MRE Car Wash and it
is located at the car parking area of the new buggy terminal. Promotion
prices are RM8 for car wash and vacuum, RM75 for whole car polish
and RM5 for engine and under carriage wash, check out their efficient
cleaning services now!

Tuesdays – Thursdays : 11am – 7pm
Fridays – Sundays : 7am - 10pm

CHICKEN RUNS @ CHUCK RUN
Participate in the ‘Chuck Run’, every Tuesday from
5.00pm onwards. Add some challenge to your usual 9-hole game!
Members are invited to contribute RM5 each before the start of
game and will receive a stamped score card.

Golfers
can play at either course |
| 2. |
Each
flight shall have a minimum of 3 players. |
| 3. |
Golfers
shall play off their full handicap. |
| 4. |
Scores
will be on Stableford format. |
| 5. |
Score
cards shall be returned to the counter after each game / round. |
| 6. |
Scores shall be placed on the notice board the next day and
then kept by the Club. |
| 7. |
Golfer
with the highest stableford points for each nine played, shall
be awarded the weekly “Chuck Run Champion” prize
(F&B Vouchers for beer, chicken wings or sausages) |
| 8. |
Prize
vouchers will vary according o the amount collected |
