WINE APPRECIATION DINNER

The 7th Wine Appreciation Dinner at Pulai Springs Resort was held on 21 April 2006. More than 90 wine lovers turned up for the event. The dinner was co-sponsored by AsiaEuro and its 'wine master', Paul Leong, was the presenter for the evening. The superb dinner at Qing Palace comprised of an 8-course set dinner.

This delicious dinner was accompanied by fine Argentinean wine such as 2005 Trapiche Sauvignon Blanc, 2004 Trapiche Oak Cask Chardonay and 2003 Trapiche Oak Cast Merlot.

Everyone enjoyed the splendid "wining and dining" session. Guests also took home knowledge and tips on how to choose the right wine to match your favourite dish.

THE VINES GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB VISIT TO PSR

The Vines Golf & Country Club Captain, Geoff Wright, and his 16 other mates visited Pulai Springs Resort last week!

This cheerful bunch of golfers from Down Under has always been welcomed with open arms. The highlight of the visit was an inter-club game between PSR and TVGCC on Sunday, 23 April 2006. This was followed by a dinner at the Kayangan Suites. They also managed to tour Johor Bahru for some shopping and eating too!

APRIL MEDAL 2006

78 participants took part in the April Medal 2006 which was held on 22 April 2006 at the Pulai Course. The exciting afternoon saw Toh Heng Hock, Rezalluddin Rayhan and Tan Chun How emerged as champions for their respective divisions (Division A, B and C). Foo Lee Kim however, emerged as the 'new champion' in the Ladies Division. All top winners took home quality electrical appliances and enjoyed a BBQ Buffet dinner at Kayangan Suites. We wish to congratulate all the winners and thank all participants for their strong support.
